'Candy Mena' (New York/DR) & 'Angelo Rito' (Milan), both of whom have most recently toured the globe with the
famous 'Fogarate Dance Co', will be in York, at 'The Duchess', on Sunday 21st September.

Mini Biogs:
'Candy Mena' has been performing Salsa internationally for the last 10 years. Starting out with the famous 'Eddie Torres' Dance Co', then moving on to perform with Jai Catalano. She then performed in the off Broadway hit show 'Latin Madness' both in New York & Europe. She extended her abilities even more by travelling with 'Jesus Aponte' (a world Salsa champion who appeared in many leading films & music videos). Her acro' work during this time was amazing. Finally over the last 2 years, she has danced with 'Yamulee Dance Co' & with much sought after 'Juan Matos' & his 'Fogarate Dance Co'. Her latest, much anticipated partnership with 'Angelo Rito' will be a joy to watch!
'Angelo Rito' was a Junior Ballroom Champion & has been competing sincen the age of 6. He comes from a long line of Ballroom specialists with both his parents & grand parents being Ballroom teachers. Angelo also spent a year training / performing in Puerto Rico with the famous 'Jason Molina Dance Co' before joining the much sought after 'Juan Matos' & his 'Fogarate Dance Co' where he spent 2 years travelling & performing internationally. He occassionally partnered Candy during this time, so their dance partnership has been developing for a while & we cannot wait to see them in action together.
